All of our programs are trauma-informed, culturally competent, and designed with the military and first responder community in mind. No experience is required for any of them.
Equine-Assisted Psychotherapy (EAP)
EAP combines the expertise of a licensed mental health professional and equine specialist to address emotional, behavioral, and mental health concerns. EAP is designed for individuals experiencing challenges such as PTSD, trauma, anxiety, depression, grief, stress, and relationship difficulties.
Equine-Assisted Learning (EAL)
EAL is a non-therapy experiential learning approach that uses interactions with horses to promote personal growth, leadership development, communication, teamwork, and life skills.

Community Wellness and Social Programs
Not everything has to look like therapy. Sometimes the best thing is getting outside, being around other people who get it, and just doing something together.
Operation Restore organizes community outings and social activities specifically for veterans and first responders. Current and upcoming activities include:
- Fishing trips on the Shenandoah River
- Golf outings and group recreation
- Educational talks and community events
- Partnered events with local Front Royal businesses
- Seasonal wellness and social gatherings
- Coffee with Horses
